The sun sets on another arduous day tending to steel; hot and cold, shining and rusted, new and old, small and big. Brigitte is by no means small by any standard, but Reinhardt Wilhelm was too drastic a degree to compare. Sometimes, too big, Brigitte muses, recalling times a job called for a certain finesse from a harder-to-hit target. Repairs eat away at most of their expenses, and right up there was Reinhardt’s medical bills: countless bandages, gauze, sutures, and disinfectant. Plaster too, though that was more for herself: the life of an engineer is cruel on the hands. She also happened to like the ones with kitty designs on them. But the gashes across her beloved godfather’s flesh were beyond plaster, and at times even their largest bandages. She wakes up in a daze; head pounding, temples throbbing, and breath laced with the reek of last night's binge-drinking birthday bender. Empty cans and a tequila bottle sit conquered by her booze soaked mattress, the glow of multiple monitors offering the only light in her dark, quiet room. She almost misses the noisy buzzing of her loud, former cooling systems; it was her white noise. Now, everything was unbearably silent, a constant reminder she's the only one ever in here, the only one allowed in here.  The only one who wanted to be in here.  Sombra gives a withered sigh, her eyes narrowed at the ceiling as she rubs her temples pleadingl

I'll begin naming these things appropriately for the days where I don't write part of my own story. This break the chain thing is only to have something to do when I'm not already working on something, and just so I can be writing everyday even when it's about nothing in particular. Seems like an interesting idea. I've also taken to drawing stuff but it's usually small so I won't outright upload anything. Maybe when the page is filled out you can see the things I've done but I don't have a scanner anymore so possibly a picture off my phone. So far I have fruits and mountains. I'm just drawing whatever comes to mind and hopefully in the days t
